As both a Life Coach who uses the principles of ACIM and as an ACIM Group Facilitator for many years, Rev. Ken Davis shares that the idea of Oneness remains elusive, even to veterans of the Course; that the viewpoint of Oneness is absent in most ACIM learning aids.
Ken will share how "Oneness cannot be grasped but reaching toward it is vital for noticing where we have declared that there is “something else”.
ABOUT REV. KEN DAVIS
Born in Oakland, California and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Rev. Ken Davis has lived in the New York/New Jersey area for over twenty-five years.
Ken served in the US Coast Guard for ten years, enlisting as an Electronics Technician, and ended his tour as a Commissioned Officer.
In 2006, he entered a Coach training program, iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) in Shrewsbury, NJ, graduating in 2007. The iPEC organization is one of only a few programs that is fully certified by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). His Coaching supports a way of seeing relationships with compassionate insight, which naturally supports team efforts on the job and at home.
A widely varied spiritual life includes; beginnings with his devout grandfather's AME Zion membership; his mother's participation in Unity Temple in Detroit; his involvement in The Rosicrucian Order (AMORC), and the EST training. His greatest influence, however, is A Course In Miracles (ACIM).
Ken was ordained in 2016 at the ALL Faiths Seminary in New York. He currently leads A Course In Miracles Meeting for The Center For Conscious Living in Moorestown, NJ, and his ministry offers Spiritual Direction, non-denominational weddings, and funerals.
He has written several articles for Miracle Magazine and is a contributing author in the anthology by Jon Mundy, ‘A Course in Miracles and....”. He publishes a blog, ACourseInOnenessBlog.com, which is a Oneness commentary on each of the workbook lessons in A Course In Miracles.
He considers it a privilege to serve others as a Life Coach, Spiritual Director, and ordained minister.
